Pivoting from MBP-1

Video Sizzle Reel

Overview

After all the experimentation process and the learning resulting from the MVP-1 building, the team design to pivot away from the video filter enhanced value proposition and test a multimedia augmented message concept. The idea was to test how far we can push this concept in a prototype video reel.

Multimedia Messages

The right media at the right time

The Problem

We wanted to build an app that knew exactly how to augment your messages with the right media at the right time. We focused on speed, context-based asset suggestion, and intuitive gesture-based interaction.

The Goal

Create video reel to display the company visualisation of an enhanced via semantic analysis messaging user experience. The idea was to display a feasible but innovative new way of communication enhanced by different multimedia inputs, using existing API for, whether, date time, facial mood recognition and semantic sentiment.

The Process

The team decided to to set a deadline of 5 week to produce the visual and video concept.

The first two week were allocated for a first presentation of the concept in where the design in-house team were in charge of the app conceptualisation, prototype wireframes, high def app design screens, video storyboard, app interactions, and a first draft of the video sizzle reel.

Indentation

We used the first video draft as a reference of the user flow and the type of interaction our concept could bring. With this video, design assets and storyboard we proceed to work with the the dedicated video producer to push the concept to a more realising type of use case.

Final video sizzle made by and outsourced producer based on the work that the in-house team did during a two week period of time.

Project learnings

The team was very happy with the final result and the overall production process and very impress with the output that the design in-house team delivered in such a short deadline (two weeks)
